this man created the first website - evaaahhh!

Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the world wide web and founder of the W3C {1955 - }

He made a proposal for an information management system in March 1989 and on December 25, 1990, with the help of Robert Cailliau and a young student at CERN, he implemented the first successful communication between a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) client and server via the Internet. It would ultimately lead to the first web site ever,it was put online on 6 August 1991 at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.
